Take a minute and think of the one or two things in your life that have had the greatest impact on your faith. Are you finished? Chances are one of those “things” that you thought of are a part of our 4 core values.

Our desire is to impact students with the gospel of Jesus Christ. To this end, we have 4 core values that drive everything we do as a student ministry. We plan, execute, and evaluate our ministry based upon these values.

Believers grow by hearing and doing the words of God. We challenge students to read their Bible every day and practice the spiritual habits that cause growth in our lives (Joshua 1:8; 2 Timothy 3:16).

Parents are the primary spiritual shepherds in the life of a teenager (Proverbs 22:6; Deut. 6:4-9; Psalm 78:1-7; Ephesians 6:4). As a student ministry, we want to do everything in our power to help steer the hearts and minds of teenagers toward submission to their parents. In the cases where a parent figure is missing in their life, we will do our best to point them to the father to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5).

Reggie Joiner said, “Every son or daughter needs other adult voices in their lives who will say things a Christian parent would say.” Many strong adult Christians have had some person in their life, other than their parents, who cared for them and helped them grow in their walk with Christ. We have the best team of adult leaders anywhere. We want to connect students in real relationships where life change happens (Titus 2).

Most of us can look back to spiritual mile markers in our lives where we had explosive growth in our faith. Camps, retreats, mission trips, and small group gatherings generate “light bulb moments” where students “get it” when it comes to laying it all down to follow Christ. We work hard to to create unforgettable spiritual experiences for young people. Students usually learn best when “doing” (James 1:22). We want to work also to identify the times in a student’s life where they experience great challenge. In the context of some of life’s greatest challenges come the greatest spiritual victories.
