High School Prayer and Fasting Retreat

Intended for Students in Grade 9-12
The Prayer and Fasting Retreat is a challenging spiritual experience where students learn the importance of focusing their lives on the things that really matter. We’ll also have a great time with worship, teaching, games, and the almost famous “zip line” at Cedarmore.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to fast with their teenager in order to provide a common ground for discussing the experience.
The fast will begin on Thursday. Students participating in the retreat should make Thursday at lunch their last meal. At the conclusion of the retreat on Saturday, students may choose to go to lunch together. Students should drink plenty of water and/or fruit juice while fasting.
Note: Students with medical concerns should consult their doctor before beginning the fast.

What is included in cost?
Lodging, transportation, juice and water, Nalgene bottle, teaching materials, zip line, lunch on Saturday
What to bring?
Bible, notebook/pen, toiletries, bed sheets and linens or sleeping bag, towels, pillow
What not to bring?
Cell phones, electronic devices or music players, ipods, DVD players, PSP’s,
headphones, firearms, alcohol/drugs/tobacco, cheeseburgers, and Snicker bars
How do you sign up?

[ ] $25 payment on or before Oct. 25; $35 thereafter in a registration envelope
